Commercial ice machine cleaning precautions
1. Clean the water system, evaporator and water tank with ice machine cleaning agent, and clean and check the ice cubes frequently;
2. Clean the water filter;
3. The refrigerator should be cleaned regularly, once a week, with detergent and water, and rinsed with hot water. Wipe the machine with a clean rag on the surface of the box;
4. Check the thickness of the ice cube, if necessary, adjust the ice cube size control sensor by adjusting the screw;
5. Regularly check and tighten all bolts and screws;
6. Check the water leakage and fasten the water pipe connection;
7. To clean the condenser, use a small brush or metal brush instead of a wire brush. The cleaning work should be carried out after the machine stops working;
8. Check and clean all water treatment devices.
Commercial Ice Machine Maintenance
1. The commercial ice machine should be installed away from heat sources, without direct sunlight, and in a well-ventilated place. The ambient temperature should not exceed 35 degrees Celsius to prevent the high ambient temperature from causing poor cooling of the condenser and affecting the ice-making effect.
2. When cleaning the ice machine, the power should be turned off. It is strictly forbidden to flush the machine directly with a water pipe. It should be scrubbed with a neutral detergent. It is strictly forbidden to clean it with acidic, alkaline and other corrosive solvents.
3. The dust on the surface of the condenser must be cleaned every two months. Poor condensation and heat dissipation will cause damage to compressor components. When cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner, a small brush, etc. to clean the oil and dust on the condensation surface, and do not use sharp metal tools to clean, so as not to damage the condenser.
4. When the ice machine is not in use, it should be cleaned, and the ice mold and the water in the box should be blown dry with a hair dryer. It should be placed in a dry and ventilated place without corrosive gas, and should not be stored in the open air.
5. The service life of a commercial ice machine has a great relationship with the water quality. If there are many impurities in the water or the water quality is hard, scale will be left on the ice tray of the evaporator after a long time. If more scale accumulates, it will seriously affect the quality of the water. Ice-making time and efficiency will increase energy costs and even affect normal business operations. It is recommended to install a water treatment device and regularly clean the scale on the ice tray. This will prolong the life of the commercial ice machine and maintain high ice production efficiency.
