Ice machine is the general name of ice making equipment. In the early stage of ice machine development, liquid ammonia was used as refrigerant to make ice through compressor. The ice machine system is composed of four basic components: refrigeration compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator. They are connected in turn by pipes to form a closed system. The refrigerant circulates continuously in the system, undergoes state changes, and exchanges heat with the outside world.
1. Compressor suction compression
Driven by the motor, the compressor rotates continuously, sucks the low-temperature and low-pressure vapor refrigerant in the evaporator, and compresses the refrigerant into a high-temperature and high-pressure vapor state. The compressor is the core component of the ice machine system, which provides continuous power for the system and makes the ice machine system work reciprocatingly.
2. Condenser cooling
The high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant enters the condenser, and the condenser dissipates excess heat to cool the high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous state into a liquid state at normal temperature and pressure. There are three types of condensers: air cooling, water cooling and evaporative cooling. Its main function is to cool the vapor refrigerant into a liquid refrigerant at room temperature.
3. Expansion valve throttling
According to the principle of saturation pressure and saturation temperature-correspondence, the pressure of the refrigerant liquid is reduced, thereby reducing the temperature of the refrigerant liquid. Throttling the high-pressure and normal-temperature refrigerant liquid into a low-temperature and low-pressure liquid refrigerant creates conditions for the evaporation of the refrigerant. The expansion valve mainly consists of a valve body, a temperature sensing package and a balance tube. The main function is throttling and reducing pressure and regulating flow.
Four, evaporator evaporation
The low-temperature and low-pressure liquid refrigerant after throttling, the low-temperature and low-pressure gas-state refrigerant entering the evaporator quickly evaporates the gas-state refrigerant, and absorbs heat, so that the water flowing into the inner wall of the evaporator cools down and freezes quickly, and the rolling ice blade cuts off the ice flakes Store in the freezer.
