Construction Under High Temperature, How Does The Flake Ice Machine Do A Good Job Of Cooling The Concrete

 

Construction under high temperature in the construction industry has always been a topic of great concern to the public, especially in the hot summer. When concrete is being constructed, the lower limit of the weather temperature reaches 5 degrees and the upper limit is 25 degrees or higher. If certain cooling measures are taken to force the construction, the quality of the building will be affected. So, how can we use the flake ice machine to do a good job of cooling measures for concrete construction under high temperature to ensure construction benefits?

According to the analysis, in the construction under high temperature, the cooling of concrete is mainly analyzed from two aspects, one is from the raw materials, that is, the various materials that the concrete itself needs to mix; the other is from the third party, that is, the external environment where the concrete is environment to cool down. Here our flake ice machine can come in handy. The ice cubes and water produced by the flake ice machine can easily lower the temperature.

1. From the point of view of the raw materials added to the concrete, four measures can be taken to cool down.

(1) Reduce the concrete temperature by cooling the concrete mixing water. Using this method, the maximum drop in concrete temperature can reach 6 °C. However, during the construction process, it should be noted that the amount of cooling water added should not exceed the demand for concrete mixing water. The demand is related to the humidity and mixing ratio of concrete aggregates.

(2) Replace part of the mixing water with ice. The extent to which the temperature can be reduced is limited by the amount of mixing water replaced by ice, and for most concrete, the maximum temperature that can be reduced is 11 °C. To ensure the correct mix ratio, the weight of ice added to the concrete should be weighed. If ice cubes are used for cooling, it is necessary to use a pulverizer to crush the ice cubes, and then add them to the concrete mixer.

(3) Cool the stirred concrete with liquid nitrogen. At this time, the concrete can reach the lowest limit temperature. If the temperature drop of the concrete is within 8 °C, this method is feasible.

(4) Cooling of coarse aggregate. An effective way to cool the coarse aggregate is to spray it with cold water or flush it with plenty of water. Since the coarse aggregate occupies a relatively large proportion in the concrete mixing process, if the temperature of the coarse aggregate is reduced by about 1 °C ± 0.5 °C, the temperature of the final concrete can be reduced by 0.5 °C.

Second, under high temperature, during concrete construction, if certain measures are taken for the external environment where it is located, the temperature of concrete can also be cooled a lot.

(1) In summer construction, "early departure", "late harvest" and "intermittent" are adopted to avoid high temperature construction, and indoor work should be arranged as much as possible.

(2) Masonry, concrete, etc. should be covered, watered and cured in time to prevent the structural strength and quality of the concrete from being affected.

(3) When mixing concrete, the mix ratio and water content should be emphasized, and the water-cement ratio should be strictly controlled. The concrete components should be cured for no less than seven days.

(4) When constructing the floor, ceiling, and interior and exterior decoration, the base layer should be cleaned first, and the surface layer should be wetted with water to ensure the bonding between the surface layer and the base layer.
Under high temperature, concrete construction will bring hidden dangers to the building quality. Therefore, we must use correct construction methods to minimize the hidden dangers of building safety and be responsible for the safety of the country and the people. Reasonable use of the flake ice machine can increase the progress of the construction and reduce the difficulty of the construction.
