How to use the laboratory ice machine

The laboratory ice machine is a machine for making ice in the laboratory, and most of them are snowflake ice machines.

The ice-making efficiency is high, and the ice type is relatively fine, which is very suitable for the "ice bath" experiment in the laboratory.

Compared with small ice cubes or tubular hollow ice, it is looser and has an unstable shape. It can penetrate into relatively narrow gaps directly without additional crushed ice treatment, and contact with a large area of the test tube, cooling down quickly.

Today, we mainly talk about how to use the laboratory ice maker!

How to use the laboratory ice machine:
1. Check before use, check the power supply and water source, and whether there are sundries blocking the cooling vent.

2. Use the pre-test function, first check the water volume of the water accumulation tray to determine whether the water intake is normal.

3. After the situation is normal, turn on the power and start the compressor to make ice.

4. Look at the abnormality when using it. The initial ice making time of the laboratory ice machine is normally 20~35 minutes, and the later period is 12~15 minutes. If the ice making time is abnormal, even stop it for inspection.

5. Clean when in use, remove the ice cubes in the storage bin every other week, thoroughly clean and disinfect the inside of the water tank.

6. Check the time of use, check the operation of the laboratory ice machine, and observe whether there is any abnormality.

In addition, it is necessary to clean the exterior of the ice machine every day, and set up a separate water valve and power supply for the ice machine at the beginning of installation to facilitate maintenance and find problems.
