What Should I Do If The Ice Machine Does Not De-ice And The De-icing Is Not Good?

1. There are the following common reasons for the ice machine not deicing:
1. The ice cube is too thin, it can enter the de-icing state, but cannot get off the ice
2. It can de-ice, but the de-icing is not good
3. The ice cube is too thick to take off the ice
4. Deicing failure of the ice machine
Second, the ice is too thin to take off the ice solution:
1. Adjust the ice plate probe to the appropriate thickness
2. Check the water level and the position of the water level probe
3. The temperature of the water source of the ice machine shall not be higher than 32°C
4. Check the water inlet solenoid valve
3. If the ice maker can enter the deicing state, but cannot deicing smoothly or the deicing time is too long (more than 5 minutes), this kind of problem is poor deicing:
The solenoid valve for deicing is faulty, resulting in the inability to supply heat for deicing. When deicing, try to see if the heating pipe is hot. If it is not hot, the solenoid valve may be faulty, or the relay on the circuit board that controls the solenoid valve is faulty.
There are foreign objects attached to the surface of the evaporator, which is not conducive to ice making and deicing. At this time, the surface of the evaporator, water shower and water storage box need to be cleaned;
Refrigerant leaks. This kind of problem requires finding and repairing leaks and adding refrigerant.
The heating valve is malfunctioning and will not open. Solution: replace the heating valve.
4. If the ice machine cannot enter the deicing state, it means that the control part has failed. Generally, it is the problem of the control board, which cannot switch from ice making to deicing. Check whether the thickness changes. If it changes, it indicates that the ice thickness detector is normal, and the cause of the fault is that the electric control board is damaged. Otherwise, the ice thickness detector is damaged.
Maintenance method: Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the water temperature probe (when the water temperature in the water tank is close to 0°C, unplug the three-core wire in the control box and test the resistance of the two wires on both sides), if the resistance is 27K Above, it is judged that the controller is broken and should be replaced. If the resistance value is lower than 27K, one of the two wires must be disconnected, and the resistance value should be adjusted to between 27K and 28K by connecting resistors in series. It may also be because: the two-way solenoid valve is damaged. Maintenance method: replace the solenoid valve body or the outer coil, and it is best to find professional maintenance personnel for maintenance.
5. The ice cube is too thick to remove the ice, and the heat exchange solenoid valve works normally.
The ice and the ice mold are disengaged, but they cannot be completely disengaged and fall off. This requires adjusting the thickness of the ice cubes. There is an ice full probe on the top right corner of the ice tray. There is an ice-exploring iron plate on the ice tray, and there is a screw on the top. You can use a plum screwdriver to adjust it. Turn it clockwise to make the ice thicker, and turn it counterclockwise to make the ice thinner. Twist half a circle at a time , adjust and try to see how thick the ice cube is.
