What Are The Reasons Why The Ice Making Machine Is Slow

There are three possibilities for slow ice making:

1、 The power of the machine is small (properly increase the ice making time);

2、 The refrigerant is insufficient and lost (the maintenance department has some charge);

3、 Refrigerant leakage; In many cases, uneven ice making is caused by insufficient cooling time (preferentially icing near the cooling sheet). Some ice makers have liquid storage tanks, which can automatically adjust the working conditions in winter and summer. If there is no liquid storage tank, ice can be made normally in summer, but not in winter, which may be due to excessive refrigerant.

The speed of ice making machine mainly depends on two factors:

Ambient temperature: when the ambient temperature is high, the ice making speed will definitely slow down, which is very normal. In addition, the ice maker is usually placed in a well ventilated place, and the inlet and outlet of the ice maker should not be blocked.

Refrigeration system itself: if the ice making speed of the ice maker slows down, it may be a change in the refrigeration system. For example, the cooling efficiency may be reduced due to the ash accumulation in the condenser, or the refrigerant in the system may leak, and other possibilities. This needs further investigation.
