How often should commercial ice machines be cleaned?

Commercial ice machines are often used in milk tea shops, hot pot restaurants, Japanese and Korean cuisine and other scenes.

The ice machine will inevitably produce scale and bacteria during long-term use.

In this way, it is easy to cause the failure of the ice maker; the hygiene of the ice cubes produced cannot be guaranteed.

Therefore, it is recommended that the ice machine should be cleaned regularly.

The storage bin, sink, water pipes and protective film of the ice machine should be cleaned once a month!
The cleaning method is as follows:

1. Clean up the ice cubes and water left inside the ice machine, and remove the front baffle;

2. Turn on the main switch, turn off the push button switch, and then remove the evaporator baffle;

3. Pour the cleaning solution into the water tank, select the cleaning mode, and clean for 15 minutes;

4. Scrub the mold with a brush, first brush and then wipe clean with a rag;

5. Close the baffle, select the ice-making mode, add hot water to scald the ice after ice-making, and clean the drain pipe of the water storage tank.
