Top 10 Tips for Using Commercial Ice Machines
Leave a message
Generally, the service life of a commercial ice machine has a lot to do with the water quality. If there are many impurities in the water or the water quality is hard, a large amount of scale will be left on the ice tray of the evaporator after a long time, and more scale will affect the ice making process. The ice time and efficiency increase, the energy consumption cost of the ice machine is increased, and the normal operation is affected. So we suggest installing a water treatment device and cleaning the scale on the ice tray regularly.
1. The gap between the back and the left and right sides of the ice making machine should not be less than 750px, and the gap at the top should not be less than 1500px
2. The ice machine should be installed away from heat sources, without direct sunlight, and in a well-ventilated place. The ambient temperature should not exceed 35 degrees Celsius to prevent the high ambient temperature from causing poor cooling of the condenser and affecting the ice-making effect. The ground where the ice machine is installed should be solid and flat, and the ice machine must be kept level, otherwise it will cause no deicing and noise during operation.
3. The ice machine should use an independent power supply, dedicated line power supply and equipped with fuses and leakage protection switches, and must be reliably grounded.
4. The water pipes, sinks, storage bins and protective film of the ice machine should be cleaned every two months.
5. The water used by the ice machine must comply with the national drinking water standard, and a water filter device should be installed to filter impurities in the water so as not to block the water pipe and pollute the water tank and ice mold. And affect the ice making performance.
6. When cleaning the ice machine, the power should be turned off. It is strictly forbidden to flush the machine directly with a water pipe. It should be scrubbed with a neutral detergent.
7. When the ice machine is not in use, it should be cleaned, and the ice mold and the water in the box should be blown dry with a hair dryer. It should be placed in a dry and ventilated place without corrosive gas, and should not be stored in the open air.
8. The ice machine must clean the dust on the surface of the condenser every two months. Poor condensation and heat dissipation will cause damage to the compressor components. When cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner, a small brush, etc. to clean the oil and dust on the condensation surface.
Clean with sharp metal tools to avoid damage to the condenser.
9. The ice machine must unscrew the head of the water inlet hose for two months to clean the filter screen of the water inlet valve to avoid sand and mud impurities in the water from clogging the water inlet, which will cause the water inlet to become smaller, resulting in no ice making.
10. Generally, the maximum ambient temperature of the ice machine does not exceed 39 degrees, the minimum ambient temperature is not lower than 3 degrees, and the water temperature does not exceed 30 degrees.
