Factors Affecting Efficiency of Ice Machine Equipment and Measures to Improve Its Efficiency
Refrigerator equipment is widely used in catering, bars, hotels, night clubs, hospitals, schools, laboratories, scientific research institutes and other places, as well as food preservation in supermarkets, fishing refrigeration, medical applications, chemicals, food processing, slaughtering and freezing industries. Compared with other refrigeration equipment, ice-making equipment has higher technical content, so the use environment and regular maintenance of ice-making equipment are important to the service life and ice-making effect of ice-making equipment. The following is the daily maintenance method of ice making equipment.
(1) Part load operating state
As ice forms and ice thickness increases, the heat transfer performance of the evaporator decreases rapidly, and the load on the refrigeration system also decreases. Therefore, the working process of the ice machine equipment is a process of load changes, that is, the ice machine equipment is in a partial load state most of the time and operates at low efficiency. If the load is not adjusted, energy will be wasted. Through mathematical and experimental methods, it is possible to determine the change law of the load with the freezing process or ice thickness, and the use of frequency conversion regulation technology to adjust the energy of the ice machine equipment will inevitably improve the ice making efficiency.
(2) Deicing time
The length of deicing time is an important factor affecting the ice making efficiency. De-icing for a long time can extend the ice-making cycle. For hot air deicing and electric heating deicing methods, the increase in energy consumption can be imagined. Therefore, we must seek ways to shorten the deicing time. We can do it from two aspects: the structure of the ice-making parts (ice mold structure) and the material of the ice-making parts.
(3) Equipment structure of the ice machine
From the perspective of the overall structure of the ice machine equipment, consider measures to improve its efficiency. Try not to use additional motor-driven external force factors, from the transportation method of frozen water to the frozen surface, to the process of ice cubes entering the ice storage bin after deicing. Compared with the water spray method, the former has smaller pipeline resistance and lower water delivery power consumption. In addition, the spraying method does not need to make the water spray pipe swing back and forth, so as to ensure the uniformity of the ice surface.
In the ice making method of the ice machine equipment, the larger the contact area between the ice cube per unit weight and the freezing surface, the higher the freezing efficiency. For example, ice film ice machine equipment generally has three freezing surfaces. Compared with single-sided freezing, the same flake ice shortens the ice-making time and improves the freezing efficiency.
There are many factors that affect the ice making efficiency of the ice machine equipment, from the point of view of improving the partial load efficiency of the refrigeration system of the ice machine equipment. The structural form and material of the ice-making components are also one of the factors that affect the ice-making efficiency of the ice machine equipment. In addition, the circulation method and supply method of ice making water are also important aspects worth considering.
